Don't Let a Lack of Financial Acknowledge Prevent You From Living Your Best Life.

The Financial Act (TFA) exists to equip low-income and underserved communities — including communities of color — with the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to achieve lasting financial independence and close the wealth gap.
TFA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals through education, advocacy, and community service. We provide accessible financial literacy programs that translate complex financial systems into clear, practical steps people can use in everyday life.
We’re not a traditional classroom — we’re a place where knowledge is shared openly. Learn it, use it, come back for more, and pass it forward. We teach the entire household because lasting success is built through teamwork.
Since our founding, TFA has hosted free wealth-building and financial education events for the community. In 2024 alone, more than 2k participants attended workshops and seminars, along with community support initiatives and resource giveaways throughout the year.
We recognize that no two financial situations are the same. That’s why we meet people where they are — in their neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and community spaces — and help them take real steps toward stability and opportunity.
Whether it’s a student learning how to manage their first paycheck or an employee building an additional income stream, we provide guidance tailored to each person’s goals.
Programs & Community Initiatives
The Financial Act brings people together through:
Our work is about more than finances — it’s about restoring confidence, creating opportunity, and helping families build stable futures for generations to come.
In 2025, the organization launched the Veterans Community Housing Alliance Program (VCHAP), a community-driven initiative to develop forty-two (42) single-family homes on designed specifically for homeless and disabled veterans.
The program creates a safe, stable place to live for the men and women who served our country. We provide long-term and permanent housing support across three states — Arizona, Ohio, and Tennessee — with additional locations planned for in Fall 2027.
Through dedicated partnerships and a deep commitment to those who served, VCHAP delivers more than housing — it provides stability, dignity, and a clear path forward.
The Financial Act is creating meaningful change in the communities we serve. With your support, we can continue delivering high-quality programs and events that truly impact the lives of individuals and families. Your donation is an investment in stronger futures and allows us to expand our reach to those who need it most. Take action today and help us keep the work moving forward by making a generous contribution to The Financial Act.
