Don't Let a Lack of Financial Acknowledge Prevent You From Living Your Best Life.
For thousands of veterans, that moment isn’t guaranteed.
Men and women who stood watch while we slept. Who deployed without hesitation. Who signed a blank check payable to this country—up to and including their lives. And yet, when the uniform comes off, the safety net sometimes disappears with it.
Too many veterans are navigating civilian life while carrying invisible wounds. Some are battling physical disabilities. Some are managing PTSD. Some are simply trying to stretch a fixed income in a housing market that keeps moving further out of reach. Stability becomes fragile. Dignity feels distant.
The Veterans Community Housing Program, developed by The Financial Act, was born from one simple belief:
Service should never be followed by homelessness.
This isn’t just about building houses. It’s about rebuilding certainty.
We are creating permanent, supportive housing communities designed specifically for disabled and homeless veterans—places where rent is structured responsibly, where supportive services are integrated, and where neighbors understand each other’s journeys. Communities built with intention. With safety. With respect.
Imagine walking into a neighborhood where:
This program restores what instability takes away: predictability. Peace. Pride.
Because housing isn’t a luxury. It’s infrastructure for healing.
Every veteran deserves a place where the lights stay on. Where the mailbox has their name on it. Where tomorrow feels possible again.
This webpage is more than information—it’s an invitation.
An invitation to donors who want their dollars to create measurable stability.
An invitation to partners who believe collaboration changes systems.
An invitation to communities ready to stand behind those who once stood for us.
We are restoring dignity.
We are honoring sacrifice.
We are building stability—one home, one veteran, one community at a time.
And the door is open.
If you are a veteran seeking stable, supportive housing, we are here to walk this journey with you.
The Veterans Community Housing Program was created to provide safe, permanent housing and access to supportive services for disabled and homeless veterans transitioning into stability. Our goal is simple: restore dignity, strengthen independence, and create a community where you can thrive.
You are not alone — and you do not have to navigate this process by yourself.
That’s okay.
If you just want more information, have questions about eligibility, or want to understand how the process works — reach out. We’re here to provide clarity, not pressure.
No. This program provides permanent supportive housing — not emergency shelter. Our goal is long-term stability.
Not necessarily. Veterans who are at risk of homelessness or facing housing instability may also qualify.
Supportive housing combines affordable rent with access to services like financial education, employment assistance, and connection to VA resources.
Rent is structured as voucher-based or income-based, depending on eligibility and available programs. During intake, we review your specific situation.
After submitting your interest form, a housing coordinator will contact you within 10–15 business days. Placement timelines depend on unit availability.
Yes. All inquiries and applications are handled confidentially and securely.
Typically:
Our team will walk you through exactly what is needed.
We are committed to reasonable accommodations. Please inform us during intake so we can properly support you.
If you do not meet current eligibility criteria, we will do our best to connect you with alternative community resources.

We help you overcome financial or credit challenges, so you become mortgage-ready to buy your home. We also help you find the right housing program for your budget.

We find solutions to save your home or take steps to get yourself and your family moving forward to new housing and revitalizing your credit.

If you are 62 or older and want to pay off your mortgage, supplement your income, or pay off healthcare expenses – talk to a TFA counselor about your reverse mortgage options.
